Executive Committee Holds Meeting to Discuss Development Priorities

The Asutifi South District Assembly on 14th May 2026 held an Executive Committee Meeting to deliberate on key governance and development issues within the district.

The meeting brought together all Executive Committee Members and Secretaries from the various Sub-Committees to discuss matters arising from previous meetings and receive presentations on sub-committee reports.

In his opening remarks, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Assabil Donkor Benjamin, commended members for their commitment to the development of the district and encouraged continued collaboration in promoting effective service delivery.

The various sub-committees presented reports outlining their activities, achievements, challenges, and recommendations in areas including development planning, finance, infrastructure, and social services. Members engaged in discussions and proposed measures to improve implementation and coordination across sectors.

“Our collective efforts are important in driving the development agenda of the district and improving the lives of our people,” the DCE stated.

The meeting ended successfully with members reaffirming their commitment to teamwork, accountability, and sustainable development within the district.
