Management Information Systems Unit (MIS)

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Unit provides strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and application of Information Technology and Information Management (IT/IM) standards and quality assurance systems within the District Assembly.

The Unit is responsible for supporting the effective implementation, development, deployment, and management of IT/IM systems and resources to improve operational efficiency, communication, data management, and service delivery across all departments of the Assembly.

The MIS Unit also advises the Assembly on the procurement, installation, maintenance, and effective use of computers, networking equipment, software applications, and other office technology accessories. In addition, the Unit provides technical support and solutions to address IT/IM-related challenges and ensure the smooth operation of digital infrastructure and systems.

Furthermore, the Unit plays a vital role in the design and implementation of security measures to safeguard the Assembly’s IT/IM infrastructure, systems, installations, and data against unauthorized access, cyber threats, and operational disruptions. Through innovation and efficient technology management, the MIS Unit contributes significantly to strengthening administrative performance and effective service delivery within the District Assembly.
