The district has successfully commissioned three major development projects aimed at enhancing education and healthcare delivery across the area.
The first ceremony took place at Kwaku Nyumah, where a newly constructed 3-unit classroom block was officially handed over to the school community. The facility is expected to improve teaching and learning by providing a safer, more spacious, and conducive environment for pupils and teachers.
At Mehame, a modern CHIPS compound was commissioned to expand access to primary healthcare services. The facility will provide essential services including maternal and child healthcare, preventive care, and community outreach, significantly reducing the need for residents to travel long distances for medical attention.
The final commissioning was held at Acherensua for Agyewodin JHS, where another 3-unit classroom block was unveiled. The project will help reduce classroom congestion and support effective academic delivery, contributing to improved educational outcomes in the community.
These projects demonstrate the district’s continued commitment to investing in social infrastructure and improving the quality of life for residents through better education and accessible healthcare.
