The Asutifi South District Assembly held its Executive Committee meeting on Thursday, 13th August 2026, at the District Assembly Hall to deliberate on key issues relating to the development and administration of the district.
The meeting brought together members of the Executive Committee, Secretaries of the various Sub-Committees, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. George Osei, and the District Chief Executive, Hon. Assabil Donkor Benjamin.
A major item on the agenda was the presentation of reports from the various Sub-Committees. The reports highlighted activities undertaken, key issues identified, recommendations made, and matters requiring the attention and consideration of the Executive Committee.
The Committee also received a presentation on the reviewed Annual Action Plan of the Assembly. Members examined the proposed activities and priorities to ensure that the plan reflects the current development needs of the district and supports the effective implementation of programmes and projects.
The discussions provided an opportunity for members to share views, make recommendations, and strengthen coordination among the various Sub-Committees and departments of the Assembly.
The meeting reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to effective planning, accountable governance, and the implementation of development interventions aimed at improving the well-being of residents of Asutifi South District.
