In order to act as a watchdog over the community children in their developmental ladder, the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, with assistance from UNICEF, established community child protection committees (CCPCs) in four (4) communities:Nsumama, Woramumuso, Sunkwa, Konkromaa and konkontreso, with the support of the Traditional Authorities and Assembly members from the four communities.
