Asutifi South Celebrate the 65th Independence day

Asutifi South District Assembly on sunday March 6, 2023 at the Presby School Park celebrated the 65th Independence Day celebration.
Ghana’s Independence Day commemorates the birth of a free, independent nation after the end of British administration in 1957. Because of this, the sixth of March each year gives joy and gladness to the wonderful people of Ghana because it offers a chance to honor past and present national heroes who were instrumental in the war for independence and to cement the progress we have made since that time.
This national holiday is observed throughout the entire country, and Asutifi South were not left out.
The District Assembly with the leadership of the DCE, Hon. Robert Dwomoh Mensah in collaboration with the District Education Directorate organised this year’s independence day celebration under the theme “Working together, bouncing back better” at Preby school park.
Nananom, the clergy, GES representatives, District Police command representatives, District health directorate representatives, headmasters, heads of department, assembly staff, teachers from various schools, and students in general attended this beautiful event.
