A Two-Day Workshop for Staff on Good Report writing and Revenue Mobilisation Strategies

The Asutifi South District Assembly as part of its mandate to train staff and builds their capacity through the Human Resource Department has organised a two-day training for the staff of the assembly on Good Report and Minutes writing and Revenue Mobilisation Strategies. The training was slated for 19th and 20th of August, 2020.

The day one of the training was on Good Report and Minutes writing. The facilitators for the training were Mr. Ebenezer Amoah and Mr. Stephen Nkrumah Boateng from Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council (AhRCC). Some of the topics treated for day one (1) were: Being a professional Secretary, Minutes writing skills for MMDAs, Records Management.

Day two of the training was about improving revenue generation for the assembly’s Internally Generated Fund (IGF). This training was part of the strategies to improve the revenue of the assembly. Mr. Jacob Adu (Regional Budget Analyst, AhRCC) in his presentation noted some of the strategies to improve revenue generation as well as the sources of some sources of internal revenue for the assembly.
