Members of the Community Child Protection Committee (CCPC), Asutifi South District, participated in a day-long capacity-building session conducted by the Department of Social Welfare through the UNICEF Child Protection Project.
The workshop’s objective was to educate CCPC members on child protection-related matters as part of the Department of Social Welfare’s actions, which are supported by UNICEF. The CCPCs have received training on how to effectively address concerns involving vulnerable groups, speak up for the protection of children, and send cases that fall outside of their purview to the relevant Departments or Agencies.
